INVISALIGN PERTH

Gone are the days of metal braces.
Get straight teeth with Invisalign in Ellenbrook.

Introducing Invisalign at Coolamon Dental, a revolutionary method to give you straight, even teeth, without the hassle and embarrassment of metal braces. While traditional braces can do the job of straightening crooked and crowded teeth, they can feel heavy and clunky, and are extremely visible.

How does Invisalign work? Bespoke clear removable aligners are created for you which you wear day and night, removing only to eat or clean your teeth. These are changed every 2 weeks as your teeth move position. Since they’re practically invisible, you can feel confident going about your daily life, and you can see the finished result, thanks to digital imaging at your very first appointment.

What steps are involved in an Invisalign procedure?

STEP 1 – INITIAL CONS

An initial consultation is booked with our experienced dentist to examine your teeth and ensure you don’t have any current dental issues. This is where you can ask questions, talk about the problems with your teeth and discuss what you want to achieve with Invisalign.

STEP 2 – CREATING A TREATMENT PLAN

Scans of your teeth are taken and sent for processing at the Invisalign lab. Your dentist will use digital imaging to examine and devise an individual treatment programme specifically for your teeth.

STEP 3 – CUSTOM MADE ALIGNERS

Once your customised treatment programme is finalised, a series of bespoke aligners are made up for you. You will wear each aligner for around 2 weeks before switching to the next one. The process can take anywhere between 3-24 months, depending on the extent of tooth movements required.

STEP 4 – YOUR TREATMENT PROGRESS

Every 4 – 6 weeks you’ll visit your dentist for a check-up and receive your next series of aligners. The aligners are worn both day and night and only removed to eat or clean teeth. This allows gradual changes in the positioning of your teeth.
